Bear Creek Baptist Church has a rich history since organizingalong the creek in 1787, just a few years after the nation's birth. Since those days, the people--who really are the church--have weathered storms of life but basked in the sunshine ofarmi and missions. While its history comes out of revival movements which swept through central North Carolina in the 1750s and '60s, the emphasis today isn't on the past but on the future. We believe, Lord willing, Bear Creek's best days lie ahead, especially as the need for faithful witness in an ever-changing world dramatically increases.
